We are based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, which is the traditional territory of the Wendat, the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, and the Anishinaabeg, including the Chippewas and the Mississaugas of the Credit.

After our annual calculations, we reserve 25% of profits, or more, to support local mamas. Our forms of support differ based on each individual needs.

We identify who to support through a variety of methods including, but not limited to, local charities that focus on mothers and children in need, personal word of mouth and email submissions.

Although we wish we could support every submission we receive, it is not feasible. After due diligence, we choose the families we believe we can have the most impact on. We thank you for trusting us to support those most in need.

If you’ve ever touched bamboo fabric you will remember the feeling of it! It’s unbelievably soft, silky and cool to the touch. It helps regulate temperature better than almost any other fabric; keeping your babe cool in the summer and warm in the winter.

The fabric’s properties also include moisture-wicking, hypoallergenic and UV protective. If that isn’t enough, it is an eco-friendly, sustainable and biodegradable fabric.

As such, we heavily gravitate towards bamboo fabric when creating Buzzbee Baby products!

There is nothing softer (or better smelling) than a newborn baby’s skin. Many of our products use bamboo fabric as it is nearly as soft as a newborn baby’s skin, making it perfect for endless cuddles, amongst other benefits. However, due to its delicate nature the fabric can pill when it rubs against other surfaces. Thankfully, pilling does not affect the functionality or feel of the material.

To properly care for your items made with bamboo fabric, we recommend washing in cold water, with like fabrics and colours, on a gentle cycle. Hang to dry.

… but as a mama, tumble dry on low and know wear and pilling may occur due to the delicate nature of the fabric. We are not responsible for what may occur in the dryer.

All design, packaging and shipping is done locally in Toronto, Canada. We use several reputable, GOTS certified manufacturers located in China.

We take pride in every order we package, but sometimes mistakes happen (mom brain!) or items get damaged in transit. If, upon inspection, you find an order is incorrect, damaged, or defective in any way, please reach out to us within three days of delivery and we will work with you to make it right!
